I’m so happy to get Kendall & Blake’s Meadowlark 1939 engagement session up on my blog! It was such a beautiful day back in October & we created absolute magic. They both fell into posing so well with simple directions & prompts, with two different looks for the session it created variety on the stunning historic estate grounds. I myself adore Meadowlark with it’s endless gardens, multiple pools & surrounding field we had no shortage of charming backdrops. We ended the session on a joyous note literally frolicking through the grassy field, Kendall & Blake were up for the fun so we went for it! Below Kendall shared a few words that are so sweet, I always love to learn these bits of information to get a better vision of my couple’s loves together!
How did you two first meet? We actually met on a dating app! Super millennial of us. I was working and living in Atlanta right after graduating from UGA and struggling to find people outside of my established circle of friends so I downloaded Hinge on a whim to see if I would have any successful dates. Turns out, their slogan of being the “dating app designed to be deleted” is really true. Tell us The proposal story. Blake actually proposed at home! We were having a very relaxing, chill Saturday night perusing through our record collection, having a few drinks and playing fetch with our dogs in the yard. A pretty normal routine for us, which is the sweetest part of the proposal to me at least. There was no need for a big production, but the proposal was a true reflection of the couple that we are and the time we share together regularly. There was no better place to start out our marriage journey than the first place we put down roots. I was thrilled to say yes! What has been your favorite thing about being engaged? Knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend! Photographer: Alexis Lunsford
