We had the most perfect Spring afternoon for Katie and John’s couples session at The Inn at Serenbe. I met Katie through Instagram, we connected over her company ‘Aisle by Katie Davenport’ a fashion styling service that she offers. Helping clients look their absolute best. With her fashion knowledge, you can image my excitement to photographer her and her husband.

They came dressed to match the location, which is a key point to image outcome for any session. Then Katie changed into an elegant white Reformation dress to add a softness to the otherwise rustic Inn. I directed their session with a mixture of editorial/documentary/fun posing, creating a gallery that was well-blended. With this approach to posing, at no point did they feel overwhelmed with extensive poses or puzzled by not knowing what to do… a perfectly balanced session is so important for you to get the incredible session and photos you’re looking for!
